From her good morning kiss and the playful games she plays with Dad to the bedtime story her mother reads to her, everything is an opportunity to rejoice, and she "gives thanks to Jesus" before falling asleep. Written in rhyming couplets, the short, simple text blends the scriptural refrain with immediate details from a child's world.
