Exploring Creation With Marine Biology is a high school, college preparatory multimedia marine biology course. It is not a supplement. It is a FULL COURSE! It runs in Internet Explorer, which makes it very easy to use.

The course looks just like a website, which makes it very familiar to most students. There is a navigation frame to the left which allows you to choose any module and any section of the course. The content of that portion of the course will then appear on the right-hand frame. There are animations and videos throughout the course, which make the material fun and interesting. Technical words are also pronounced for the student.

There are hands-on experiments throughout the CD so that the student can have a true laboratory-based marine biology course. You can purchase a kit of materials so that these experiments can be done either at home or in a school setting.

There are study guides and tests for every module in the course, and the answers are provided as well. Located on a separate CD that is included with the course, these materials can be printed out so that the student can use them and the parent/teacher can grade them.

This is a companion CD. It is not a full course. It is designed to be used with the textbook Exploring Creation With Marine Biology. It contains pronunciations for the technical words in the course, animations used to explain some of the more difficult concepts in the course, and videos of experiments that the student would not be able to do on his or her own.

The textbook contains an icon of a hand holding a CD. Each time you see that icon in the book, you know that this CD contains multimedia related to the material being discussed at that point.

Prerequisites: Algebra II

This course is designed to be the second high school chemistry course that a student takes. In order to take this course the student must have already had one year of high school chemistry. In addition to a first year of chemistry, the student needs to have completed Algebra 2. The course covers detailed descriptions of limiting-reagent stoichiometry, atomic and molecular orbitals, intermolecular forces, solutions, equilibria, acids and bases, redox reactions, nuclear chemistry, and organic chemistry. Challenging but understandable, your student will be at the top of his university chemistry class after taking this course.  This set contains both the Textbook and Solutions & Tests Manual.

In order to take this course, students must have completed a first-year biology course, preferably Exploring Creation With Biology.

This course concentrates on marine wildlife and marine habitats. It provides a survey of members of each biological kingdom that live in marine environments. The student will learn about the microscopic organisms that make life in the ocean possible, including details about their interesting habits and life cycles. The student will also learn about the anatomy of many macroscopic marine creatures such as clams, starfish, and sharks. The student will then learn how these creatures and their physical surroundings form marine ecosystems such as intertidal zones, estuaries, coral reefs, continental shelf communities, epipelagic communities, and deep-ocean communities. The course ends with a study of marine resources and our relationship with the sea.  This set contains both the Textbook and Solutions & Tests Manual.

In order to take this course, a student must have already completed a high school physics course, preferably Exploring Creation With Physics. In addition to a first-year physics course, the student must have also completed a trigonometry course in order to take Advanced Physics in Creation. The course provides detailed descriptions of kinematics, dynamics, rotational motion, gravity, oscillations, waves, optics, thermal physics, electrical forces, electrical potential, DC circuits, magnetic forces, atomic physics, and nuclear physics. The student is also given an introduction to the fascinating topics of special relativity and general relativity.  This set contains both the Textbook and Solutions & Tests Manual.
